I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and attention to detail at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even arranging a special dinner for us in the peaceful garden. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a unique character, set in a large courtyard. Additionally, the location on the outskirts of town provided a peaceful atmosphere away from the main area.
No negatives.

Nice rooms and good food, but that's it. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, which can be a positive for some, but was not for me. The only way to get there is by car, and the roads are narrow and winding. The staff was friendly, but not overly accommodating. The beds were uncomfortable, and the blankets were thin. There was no air conditioning, which made it difficult to sleep on hot nights.
The lack of air conditioning was a real problem. The beds were uncomfortable, and the thin blankets did not keep us warm.

Nothing everything was great.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful woodland and has a peaceful feel. the staff are very helpful and friendly, making me feel very welcome during my Xmas stay. the continental breakfast is substantial and delicious. the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. the hotel was easy to find using GPS, and its location is perfect for visiting nearby military cemeteries.
Although the hotel offers Wi-Fi, I had a difficult time connecting to it from my room. the surrounding roads can be a bit confusing to navigate, making it a bit difficult to find the hotel upon arrival.

During my recent stay, I couldn't have been happier with the warm welcome that we received from the owner. the room we had was clean, comfortable and well, equipped. It was great to have a coffee/tea maker in the room, as well as a TV. We enjoyed the delicious home, cooked food served during our meals, and I especially loved the fresh breads, croissants and the excellent French coffee for breakfast. the hotel's serene setting surrounded by fields and forests is perfect for relaxation.
